How can TrueBloom help me?
Am I the right professional for you?
I hold a Master of Social Work degree in the state of Michigan. I specialize in trauma with a unique subspeciality in reproductive trauma (pregnancy loss, infertility, stillbirth and ). Infertility counseling has been a deep passion of mine. I have devoted my career to learning about the many ways to building a family, understanding the female and male contributing factors to infertility, the use of reproductive technology and have an in-depth awareness of the physiological, psychological, emotional, relational, and spiritual impacts to infertility and pregnancy loss.
As part of my efforts to obtain best practices in infertility counseling, I have taken over 20 hours of continued education on effective treatment modalities to healing reproductive trauma. I have also created and led several continued education courses for other mental health professionals in treating infertility on platforms such as Soultenders, Inc, and CE You. I have worked to develop professional relationships with highly recommended treatment providers including reproductive endocrinologists, OBGYN’s, functional medicine specialists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, mental health professionals, support groups, nonprofits organizations and legal experts in the field.
My treatment approaches often incorporate the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Narrative Therapy and attachment focused treatment with strength-based approaches. I am an EMRIA certified EMDR specialist and can utilize eye movement desensitization and reprocessing techniques to trauma-based responses.
I consider my therapeutic approach to be warm, goal orientated and comprehensive. I believe that being a parent is a fundamental right for all individuals who can provide a nurturing home to a child and am a ally to the LBGTQ community.
